Shanghai's Achievement

Things I learnt and gained in Shanghai:
  1. Chinese?? <-- improvement rate: 10%-30%
  2. Calligraphy - BASIC!
  3. Shanghai's architectures, food, culture and lifestyle =.=
  4. How to deal with the locals - more flexibility for Chinese speaking foreigners!
  5. Great cheap shopping places
  6. Good hangout places - bars, restaurants, lounges, spa
  7. SuZhou-HangZhou beautiful sceneries
  8. Better rates with Singapore debit cards!
  9. It's a waste of time to study language in Shanghai

  1. The Bund a.k.a Shanghai Tan - most popular place
  2. JinMao Tower, Cloud 99 Lounge - skyview nightlife
  3. Cheng Huang Miao - Chinatown in Shanghai, selling jades and golds
  4. NanJing Lu - always busy pedestrian road
  5. Xin Tian Di - full of foreigners
  6. XiangYang Market - infamous market for non-authentic goods
  7. Shanghai Development Centre

  1. QiPu Lu - good bargain fashion wears
  2. Cheng Huang Miao - wholesales of accessories, textiles etc
  3. DongJia Du Lu - fabric & tailoring market
  4. ShanXi Bei Lu no. 59 - AAA grade non-authentic goods, good price!
  5. NanJing Xi Lu
  6. NanJing Dong Lu
  7. HuaiHai Lu

Restaurants:
  1. Shanghai Ashu - Best Shanghai's restaurant
  2. Din Tai Fung - Best Xiao Long Bao
  3. Charmant - Affordable Taiwanese food
  4. People 7 - Contemporary Cuisine
  5. South Beauty - SzeChuan restaurant
  6. Malone's - Great burger
  7. Lapis Lazuli - Italian/French restaurant

Glad u like the poormen boat experience. Remember we din even pay like 20cents (SG)/person for it. HAHahahaa..

So it proves: the best experiences are (sometimes) free.
