6D5N in Taipei for Asia Pacific Life Insurance Congress (APLIC). Left Singapore early afternoon and reached Taipei ard 6pm.

Spring Festival 2007

Part I -Hometown Celebration

Spent four days back in Jakarta to celebrate this special event. Really hope that my bro was around. I have not been spending the last two Spring Festival with him. Miss ya bro!

TarQ II Reunion

Flew back to Jkt for my junior high school reunion, which coincides with my return trip for Lunar Festival.

It was exciting meeting up with school friends and catching up after such a long period of time. I can't help but noticing how grown up we are now or how young we were back then.





















Sally -my goodest friend and bestest sister. Known her since primary 5 and we spent our entire junior high school year together. Even after being separated for miles, we are still so connected to each other. People change and grow. It ain't easy to embrace the change. But one thing that never changes is our friendship :)





















Wien -my brother for 10 yrs and ongoing.. ! Known him since junior high school year 2 through ICQ! haha.. Who would guess that we would be so close ever! We finally met each other after 1-2yrs of virtual communication. One fine joker I would say, and really fun guy to hang out with. Really excited to catch up with him last year in Shanghai, and again this time round.





















Shelvia -notice how GORGEOUS she is now? *not saying you weren't. But you truly are GORGEOUS now! ;) Although we haven't seen each other for ages, but we are still in contact -all thanks to blogger! hahaha..
















Jeffrey -the lucky guy with two beauties ;) We were really close back then during junior high school, even after I came to Singapore. Currently living and working in Shanghai. We hang out couple of times last year when I was in Shanghai.


I thank the wonderful commitee for their hardwork to bring together all of us once again.

Valentine Picnic

It's my first Valentine with dear and I'm really excited! :)

Dear bought me this cute lil' Manfred bear at coolbearworkshop.













It even has birth cert *gasp!

Despite our hectic schedules, we decided to set aside time to nurture our love, and Valentine is just the perfect event for it!

We had simple picnic at Sentosa's Siloso Beach. Food was prepared a la Mona -meaning no cooking is required :p Appetizer was fruitilicious fruit salad, with hamilicious sandwich as the main, and chocolicious strawberry/apple-coated-chocolate as desserts. *Yummy! Drinks were the refreshing homemade kiwi squash -ask me for recipe ;)

Farewell My PDA

Today I lost my PDA in Vivo City, along with it -my NEW miniSD card, NEW EZLink and Indo SIMcard. It's my first phone I bought with my hard-earned money *sobs

Well I am to be blamed as it was my own carelessness that caused the loss of the phone. I left it inside the toilet carelessly, walked out and realized it only 5-10mins later. When I went back, it has *gasp* disappeared!

I went to the cleaner, info counter and even asked the crowds -but to no avail. I called in countless times -from 7pm to 10pm -yet it wasn't connected. Either the fella doesn't know how to operate the phone, or she/he didn't hear the ringtone; but surely he/she didn't know how to off the phone..

By 10pm I decided to call M1 to suspend my line. I felt very down and decided to treat myself to nice apple cheesecake dessert at Secret Recipe. Thanks to Manfred and Ronald for being there for me, despite being so tired.

Anyway, I'm done with brooding over the loss. I figured out that it has served its purpose and yes, it's time for change -new phone!

Goodbye my PDA.. 10mths are neither long nor short, but you've been really helpful..

So, any suggestions on good phone/PDA?

Machine Temporarily Suspended

I'm finally down with viral fever -just when I got my momentum back! Argghhh!!

It wasn't really a good feeling when you know you want to work yet your body refused to cooperate. You are forced to take a break which you do not desire to have.

This is a break that I can't afford to have now, yet a break that I'm forced to take..

Well I'm taking day off today -to pamper and love myself -so that I can be back to work tomorrow. My schedule is tight for the next 2wks, after which I'm flying back to Jkt for CNY.

Happy Birthday to Moi

I'm officially 23 today!

My day began with mee-sua cooked by dear! It has been 6yrs since the last time I had mee-sua for my birthday. I am so touched! Thanks dear!

Today was just a normal working day for me, but I wrapped up early for special dinner at home-a three course dinner homemade dinner by dear.

Starters were fresh green salads and prawn bisque soup. Main was seafood course -fish, scallops and king prawn. And the best was the dessert -a homebaked birthday cake!

A friend asked me if I had got anything that I want for my birthday. This made me ponder for awhile and a thought crossed my mind -what is it that I really want and what is it that I have already had..

I look at what I have now:
-loving and understanding partner who shares same values, passion and love with me
-supportive and caring family who are always there for me
-wonderful and great friends
-perfect and rewarding career
-fun, jovial and caring colleagues
-good, kind and wonderful Father

Then it dawned to me how truly blessed I am -and that I already have what I want.

I just want you all to know how thankful I am for your birthday wishes, and how grateful I am to have you wonderful people around me.

Second day on itinerary was Kick-Off Meeting. We started the meeting with dance and ended it with heart-touching stories that caused each of us to tear..

My First District Kick-Off (1)

This year District Kick-Off is a 3D2N meeting over the weekend in Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort.

First day itineraries were of team-bonding activities like bowling games. We had great fun bowling -and I have to admit that I sucked at bowling. My score was like 0, 0, 7 0, 0, 9, 0, 0, 1.. Total was 50! I wonder what's with the 2 zeros before I can hit some pins! -_-'
